Defying Gravity-
Well, I read this entire story in a day and I absolutely loved it. I will be completely honest and admit that I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to "get into" a story with a new family member, Mark, being placed into the family and the band in Taylor's place. But you did it so incredibly well that it honestly never phased me once I started reading. You created such an intriguing and complex character in Taylor. Isobel is a wonderful character as well and I loved how supportive and understanding she always was of Taylor's admissions.
A really fantastic story and I can't wait to start reading Many the Miles.

Defying Gravity-
I haven't finished the story yet (I'm on chapter 8, I believe), but I wanted to leave you a message before I got too busy and forgot.
Very interesting setup. I have to admit, I'm kind of a sucker for the 'been bestfriends/denied love/then poof!' storyline (except Catapult.. oh, that story holds a special place in my happy!reading heart (I noticed it was one of your favorites as well)), but this is an interesting way to portray Taylor.
I especially love the endnotes after every chapter. Those will be neat to go back and look at years later--especially the ones about how much things cost and whatnot.
